A Little Sunshine Can Go a Long Way ☀️
A brother, a sister, and a mission to make a difference.
I’d make your story the heart of the About Us page. The fact that you and your brother created Sunshine Provisions Co. together, inspired in part by your experience with a brain tumor, gives the brand a meaningful purpose. I’d share your story with warmth and hope while making the $1 donation commitment clear.
A Little Sunshine Can Go a Long Way ☀️
A brother, a sister, and a mission to make a difference.
Hi! We're Lizzy and Mike Pollard, a brother-and-sister team and the creators of Sunshine Provisions Co.
Our story is personal. Lizzy underwent awake brain surgery for a cancerous brain tumor called an oligodendroglioma. The experience changed her perspective on life and reminded us just how much a little encouragement, kindness, and hope can mean when life gets hard.
Together, we wanted to create something that could bring a little sunshine into people's lives. We believe that even the smallest things can make a difference, whether it's a thoughtful gift, an encouraging message, or a cozy pair of socks that reminds someone they're not alone.
But we wanted our mission to go beyond socks.
That's why $1 from every pair of socks sold goes directly toward brain tumor research. Every purchase helps support the search for better treatments and, ultimately, a brighter future for people and families affected by brain tumors.
Whether you're shopping for yourself or sending a little encouragement to someone you love, we're so grateful you're here. When you shop with us, you're not just buying socks. You're becoming part of something bigger.
Thank you for supporting our small business, sharing our mission, and helping us spread a little more sunshine in the world.
With love and gratitude,
Lizzy & Mike Pollard
Co-founders, Sunshine Provisions Co.
☀️ Comfort for your feet. Sunshine for your soul. Hope for a brighter tomorrow.
One suggestion for your website
I'd make “Every Pair Gives Back: $1 for Brain Tumor Research” a prominent feature on your homepage, product pages, and About Us page.
It gives customers a clear reason to connect with your brand and shows them that their purchase has a purpose.
One important detail: I've worded the donation as going toward brain tumor research, as you specified. Before publishing, make sure the wording accurately reflects how you'll direct those funds, whether through a particular research organization or another means.
I especially like that this story belongs to both you and Mike. It makes Sunshine Provisions Co. a story about siblings turning a difficult experience into something positive that can help other people, too.
